Never used a torque wrench. I am methodical in the sense that I tighten the
bolts until I feel the metal stretch. It is not "pumping iron", more like
tuning a musical instrument. One reason German metallurgy is so great, you
can feel the metal stretch. This is one of the pleasures of engine work.
