um... i would like to have a couple stern words with whomever feels it is unnecessary to use a torque wrench... you can get a crapsman one for about 50 bucks, and a top 'o the line snap-on for about 160. this is still a very light price to pay compared with what would happen if you over tightened the bolt and caused a thread to start to strip.. which would then make nice work out of your block..
