Hi Frank,

Just undo the bolts, as well as the steel and rubber fluid lines and the assembly will drop right down. Have a small pan under there with you to catch the excess flid that drips down. The rod that links the clutch pedal to the master cylinder will stay attached to the clutch pedal. If you can get up in there with some gease (spray grease works well), go ahead and lube the point where the pedal and pivot pin for the clutch meet. That hole has a tendency to get dry, and wears out or just squeaks.

When you slide the new master cylinder up in there, just line up the rod as you raise the cylinder. I find it easier to start the threaded metal line before you put the bolts back in.
