I did a lot of seam and rust work on my van using heavy duty metal primer and spray cans of VW paint. The objective was'nt to have a work of art but to protect my van from further deterioration from rust. The results stopped the rust and improved the loook of the van but its far from a work of art. Best of all the whole job cost only about $60 in materials but countless hours of sanding and other prep work. If you want a your van to look like a work of art you will have to spend a lot of money but for those who would rather put their money under the hood or into another camping trip there is no need to spend a lot of money on this.
