I recently made two headlight improvements that made a HUGE difference.
1) I bought the 9004XV lights on sale at local shops ($14 for two or $12 for
one; I.E., buy two and get a discount on the second.) Major difference.
2) My mechanic Fred told me to make a huge Q-tip out of a clean rag and a
coat hanger and work it into the headlight to clean the lens. This took a
film off that made another huge difference.
Try both before you upgrade and don't use those silly plasma lights.
oncoming cars often blind me with them irritating look alike high beam crap.

on the same shop having H6054 and H6054XV at similar prices).
