If he bought a new assembly, took a component off it, and then resold the remainder HE SHOULD HAVE SAID SO! If I was the seller (and had forgotten to mention the missing component) I'd be refunding with apologies. I wouldn't do what this guy has done for any sum - but to do it to nett only $78????
Date: Thu, 29 Nov 2001 12:13:20 -0800 From: Scott Sullivan <scott_s@DISCOUSA.COM> Subject: e-bay oil pump dispute Hello, I am looking for some advice. I recently purchased an item on e-bay and did not receive what I expected. The item was listed on e-bay as "...vw part number 068 115 105 bp ... new pump... this pump fits only on the diesel vanagon..." Now the problem is that the above part number includes the pump and pick up tube. The seller purchased the pump to keep the pickup tube and use it on an I4 conversion that he is doing. So I received the pump with the incorrect pickup tube. I wanted the pump for the pickup tube because my oil pressure relief valve is sticking. His suggestion is for me to sell the item on ebay. Anyone have an idea how we can resolve this? Thanks Scot 82 D-Westy (Puka Puka)
