In that the capnuts continue to move slightly when "Holding" at the
specified torque, I'd think you'd end up with nuts that were not torqued
evenly .... possibly resulting in stresses that would lead to cracking.


I have a click type torque wrench in the right range but I don't use it
when torquing heads.
