I'd love to share Baja info with you. I'm one hour N. of the border so please stop by for a shower, Jacuzzi and sauna on your way. First time down there I tented out the trunk of my Mercedes. We were the only Mercedes in Cabo San Lucas and it was the talk of the town. No one had seen a Mercedes down there. We saw few Vanagons which are perfect for Baja with many free camping places on the way or only $3 t0 $6. we camped 10 miles from Cabo right on the beach in a campground for only $15 a day. I'll tell you where. It will be a wonderful adventure for you. When are you going.

A syncro would be nice but we made it everywhere in a Mercedes & had no need to go off road.

I have maps, tips and even interesting money saving places to go. And we found great vegetarian stops (my ex and I were vegetarian.) I still am (mostly.)

And maybe another time we can even caravan down with our van if we can coordinate but we can not go until a year or more down the road until after my fiancée biomes a citizen (They make her remain in the USA until then.)
