Subject: O2 sensor - wire repair?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hi Volks,

Some how the green 'imbedded' wire that connects to the O2 sensor on my 87 Syncro has ripped in half. What I am left with is the ripped green wire comming from the engine compartment on one side, and from the O2 sensor, I just the have the male and female connecors still attached.

My questions - how does one splice that type of wire together properly (imbedded green)?

Since all I have left on the sensor side is the male and female connector, I cant tell how the green wire was orginally attached to the connector. How should that duel green wire connect?

Hope this makes sense....

jg
