VW diesel injectors are passive devices.  The spring and shim inside the
injector controls the opening pressure.  Injection volume is controlled by
the injector pump.  In theory, if you reduced the opening pressure of the
injector, there MAY be a slight increase in volume.  Unless you are a diesel
engine expert (I am not), you should probably stick with the stock injector
specification and work with the pump to adjust the fuel delivery.
