I'm afraid that I have to agree. Religion (ANY religion) is not any cure for the world's ills. It only generates even more ills.

You don't by any means need religious beliefs to do right and know not to do wrong. And a very large number of religious folk deliberately do really bad things to others. Just look at good ol' A. Schickelgruber, the KKK or those responsible for banning teaching of evolution in a few US states...
