Thanks to both of you about the rear wiper. I noticed once that if I pushed again it turned off but it did not register that it was an on/off thing. I sometimes pushed a second (and third time) and it still kept going.

Interesting how dumb one can feel as a new owner.

My most recent turn on is dreaming about my next Vanagon which I hope to be a syncro camper. If I had known such a beast existed I may have searched for one-- but then I would have missed this incredible deal I got on this one I know own.
