Subject: water tank draining and snanitizing

Since I just bought my van a month ago I want to get the inside clean. I thought I might put a cup of bleach down in there fill it up and let sit for a day or two. Is this advisable? I know chlorine will kill and clean any mold but those with more experience than me with vanagons may have a better idea.

I also thought that since I use 35% food grade Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) i my Jacuzzi to purify it rather than chlorine this might be a better alternative.

Any thoughts? Share your thoughts and experience please.

William
