Re: RUBBERS!! who has rubber front vanagon floormats? vendors? If they are this big it would be easy to use a large utility knife to cut new ones using the old mats as templates. I think I will look for hem myself to cut rubber ones to use during the rainy season. I don't want my new carpet remnant cut outs to get dirty.

Hello from Atlanta, Ga.------Although I did not buy a set, I saw this type at Costco several months back....They were very thick, one was big enough for over the engine area, and they were quite substantial. They came in tan/brown and grey/blue, and were not too expensive. I hope this helps!]]

I looked at a westy that had even cooler ones--they were like those garage trays you park on to catch mud/snow off the van. They had louvered treads, and a 1/4-1/2" bead around them so water stayed put until you dumped them out. There was also a large square one in the "living room" that was the same style. I'll email the guy and see if he knows where they came from. bmc :) "Faith will move mountains, but you'd better bring a shovel...."

Did not think of this till now. I used my old floor mats as templates and cut new ones out of carpet remnants rather than spend $90 a set at the dealer. Why not get cheap ones of rubber from Walmart or Target and cut them using the template idea. A large enough truck floor mat and a good sharp utility knife and voila.

i know one of the list vendors used to carry a pair of front vanagon floormats that were black rubber, and said "Vanagon" on them.. the fit wasnt the greatest, but at least they were rubber, kept water out. now nobody seems to carry these, at least that i can tell. any one out there know where you can get rubber floormats for the vanagon? all the vendors offer the Lloyd style carpet floormats, but...how about ones in rubber?
