I've been having this problem for a while, (after the starter problem) and I'm curious. It was mentioned on this list that it probably is combustion gases in the cooling system. The day before yesterday I had the blinking coolant light abuot four times, so I just empty the overflow tank back to the other bottle and get on my way. I drive close to a hundred miles everyday, so this has become a ritual ( I work on copy machines ). So it happened again yesterday, but only twice, and what I did differently was to get the motor revved up to 3k rpms, and then trasnfer the coolant. Today I drove about 105 miles, and no coolant overflow, no blinking light. So, any clues, thoughts, wild guesses or ideas? I'm planning on removing the radiator to have it cleaned next week, because that is what I think will solve the problem, |
