I have had a similar problem over the years however far less frequent. I still always tend to park on a decline, just to help with the push start. Although I have also had to push start it by myself many times; running along side, hoping in and popping the clutch, away I go. I remember once I couldn't get it to start in a small forestry town of Fox Creek Alberta and the service station dude was kind enough to help me push the thing half way through town. I finally thanked him very much, before he had to go back to tend the station, only to discover that I had not had the ignition on. I hoped out gave it a shove and away I went. I am sure he didn't find this as amusing as I did. Anyway, it seems that this problem is related to heat. Is there any value in using a starter blanket like the one made by Cool It Thermo Tec. Any ideas on this?
