Wow! Back to Gnormal! It was the clutch master cylinder after all, I got the 17$ rubber pieces from NAPA and sanded the inside of the cylinder with very fine. Do not even need to bleed, the bubbles all eventually go up (unless your Vanagon is laying on its roof of course, in which case they still go up but that is not the direction you want!) Alas, CORRECTION: Last week I said the Diesel fuel tube should be Polypropylene. I should have said Polyethylene.
