I don't think your problem is the blower. I'd pull the battery ground and lower the fuse panel -- start looking around for fused/melted/shorted wiring.

If nothing is obvious I don't know better than to start tracing the affected circuits with the Bentley diagrams and choice of meter or maybe test light. If you have trouble making sense of the schematics I can help.
