Of the seven 80-83 Westies and Vanagons I've had in about the same number of years I've found mostly black rims. Whenever I found a silver rim it was usually as a spare, I've never found any other color unless it was an earlier Busses that the owners painted to match the body color when they used 1/2 hubcaps. I've also never seen a Pop-top in any other color than the White/Off White unless it had been painted to match the body by the PO.
