It is enough clearance to drop the tank. When you remove screws holding one end of the strips
(supporting tank) that end will come down and other end will be in the slot. You will need to
turn those strips down but it prolly won't be enough to remove. You will need to bend the
sharp tips to make strip flatter and go thru the slot. After removing strips tank will be free to
come down but one side is supported by a ledge. Keep that side on the ledge while disco
nnecting fuel lines, removing one clamp holding top tube and disconnecting fuel sender.
Replace sender and all grommets including large one for fuel filler tube(lube it slightly
when installing filler tube, it will help)
Put the front on ramps to have more clearance and drain tank.
