I have no idea what you are talking about. It's everyone else's projects that are keeping me from mine. That pesky Dan F. is the biggest offender. We r+r'd his 86 Syncro drive train for a rebuild and regearing effort. Then we swapped a couple (ok, 4) Subaru engines around for testing to use in planned engine conversions. We just yesterday finished putting a Westy full kitchen conversion into his Syncro by combining a early 1980 P22 model interior with a later P27. Damn, I gotta start charging him. All this just in the last couple months, along with hosting the Syncro Safari to Baja for a week and 2 other long trips down there.

The Westy custom kitchen conversion turned out really well. As a base we used the P22 kitchen which had only a sink/ice box in a smaller kitchen cabinet. These have a full width bed too. We then replaced the ice box with a Westy Dometic 182, mounted a stove above it, put in the propane tank, etc. Looks completely stock, no one would even suspect otherwise, except maybe Chris Turner. This may be the dream layout as far as interior space goes. I may do the same thing to my 83 Syncro after I get it running.
