Subject: 91 Westy - Sliding Door Pops Open While Driving
Content-Type: text/html; charset=US-ASCII

<HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=windows-1251"> <META content="MSHTML 5.50.4522.1800" name=GENERATOR></HEAD> <BODY> <P> <DIV></DIV> <DIV>As I am driving, the sliding door on my 91 Westy will suddenly pop open about a quarter inch. I can hear air rushing in. It doesn't open any farther because of the safety catch. This happens whether the door is locked or unlocked. It will&nbsp;sometimes open when I drive over a pothole or speed bump, but other times, with no provocation at all. Needless to say, it scares by rear seat passengers a bit. Any advice on&nbsp; which part needs to be replaced, or is a re-alignment of the door in order? Thanks.</DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>--- Jahan Byrne</DIV> <DIV>--- 91 Westfalia</DIV> <DIV>--- Berkeley, CA</DIV> <DIV>--- <A href="mailto:jahanbyrne@earthlink.net">jahanbyrne@earthlink.net</A></DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV> <P></P></BODY></HTML>
