Still available. Try the VW dealer. Or try one of several listmember/vendors.

http://www.vanagonprojekt.com/. Detlev also offers Winkler fiberglass flares.
Much much cheaper but made of fiberglass and requires professional fitting.
Ken Wilford at http://vanagain.com/ in the East Coast may offer the same
stuff.

I bought a set from German Ebay for Tristar. They are different in the rear.
I have not tried it in the front. I have the flares on my 16" Syncro and they
look the same. The problem is I don't know if these front flares I just got
are for a 16" or a Tristar since they were bought used. They identical to the
ones on my 16". The rears as mentioned earlier are different in that they
actually reduce the size of the opening.

Why do you want o add the flares? Are you putting these on a Syncro? If this
is for a vehicle which spends most of it's time on roads, you can go to 40-45
series tires and still get them to fit within your existing wheel as long as
you don't go too wide or have an oddball offset.
