If anyone prefers one window to three, I can always have one made for you like that. But personally, having used both, I do prefer three. On a really hot summer night, it's nice to be able to get a cross-breeze going. Keeps the top much cooler. And no drawback; you can always keep the side flaps zipped if you don't want to use them and you have a defacto "one window" canvas. My present Westy has only one window (still has the original canvas), and while I certainly couldn't justify replacing it just to get three windows, there are some August nights when I wish I had.
