The very article you are seeking is available from www.justkampers.co.uk and was recently advertised in their latest catalogue as "window security grills for 1980-91 models" part number JKA6144 priced at £39.50 a pair, also wind and rain deflectors JKA6420 at £29.95 a pair.

Hi there, I recently saw screens that fit the front windows of westys/vanagons--they were either steel or aluminum, black, and had louvres over the screen so they could be left in place when it was raining, and so they were somewhat secure against intruders. They were just the style you would fit onto the top of the glass and then roll up the window to secure them.

Does anyone know where to get these? tx, bmc :) "Faith will move mountains, but you'd better bring a shovel...."
