Unless you're just morbid and want to see where Kennedy was shot there isn't much of great tourist value in Dallas. We have a good variety of things at Fair Park, about ten minutes from Down Town Dallas, Natural History Museum, Texas History Museum, Very good Aquarium and Botanical Exhibit that rivals the Opreland Hotel in Nashville. Down town there are several good art galleries and on the West End there are an abundant supply of Restaurants and a fair number of them have entertainment. Los Colinas (near Texas Stadium, Cowboys playground) has some famous sculptures of horses running through a Texas mud puddle. Los Colinas also has Gondola rides and very good restaurants. Six Flags is about 14 miles from downtown Dallas. Lone Star Park has horse racing if it is IN Season. You can pretty much get all of these locations covered if you take an $18.00 tour and you can get your bearings and go back to the locations you like. That is all I can contribute. As for myself I leave Dallas at every opportunity I get (#16 dirtiest city in the US).
