Here's a wild story, involving the "mystery plugs"

I was at VW picking up some parts a couple of weeks ago, and wandered into the showroom floor, to check out ths new Eurovan, as I have never seen the interior latout of one.

Anyway, I was groaping around in the bask seat area, and on the passenger side, mounted kinda between the seat and the interior side panel, was a Deutschland type accessory plug----- Why in the heck does VW they bother installing them into US bound vehicles, when probably no one would ever use them? ( Or for that matter probably never figure out what in the heck it does----)

I just thought this was a little unusual---

Later,
