Seems I left quite a bit of info out, so here's a follow up.

I'm near Seattle. The Vanagon is a 4 sp manual. There are basically no options, no PS, no A/C. The interior and exterior are pretty good condition, especially considering the miles. I would give both a 7 out of 10. The seats are a bit lumpy but the carpets and all cabinets are in great shape. The original shelf lining material is completely intact, as is all the other interior tack-paper coverings. WIll try to get some pics today.

It's got the stock 1.9L.

Hi Craig, I may be interested depending on your location. I also have an 84 westy but it need some engine and body work. Please let me know where you are located and send me some pictures with a bit more info:

-1.9L waterboxer? -transmission 4sp or auto (condition)? -A/C? -P/S? -Condition of body: -inside? -outside? Look forward to hearing from you, Tom Shiels Burlington Ontario Craig Standley wrote:

I hate to do this, I've only had it for about 6 months but we're moving into a new house and I need to liquidate. Everything works (stove, fridge makes ice and includes 2 ice trays, sink), it's very solid. It does have 225,000 miles but the engine and tranny have been replaced at least once. NO oil leaks or coolant leaks, I had it pressure tested in July and it was nice and sealed up. I will be getting some pictures of it if anyone is interested, I'm waiting for the rain to quit for long enough.

Asking $5500 OBO.

Please pmail me as I've unsubbed since @home went down and my internet access is sketchy.
