FWIW - the stock setup on my Wolfsburg Camper has a 10 gauge wire installed between the main battery positive terminal and pin 87 of the relay and a 12 gauge wire installed between pin 30 of the relay and the positive terminal of the auxiliary battery. The relay is P/N 411 915 511B and the drawing on the side shows an internal diode connecting pin 85 and the solenoid. A green 18 gauge wire connects to pin 85, I haven't traced out where it goes. Also, my local electronic surplus store has a box full of TOYOTA labeled 30 Amp Bosch relays P/N 332 014 167. They go for $3.50 each so let me know if you're interested. I used one for my lowbeam headlights and plan to do the high beams soon.
