I was going to use Sierra, supposedly phosphate-free, but Mr. BenT talked me
out of it. I guess it's about an extra $10 every two or three years to buy
the dealer stuff, and I am willing to pay that toll for their stuff. I have
a dealer locally who always gives me their best price, so I'll report that
to the list when I have it later today. With that in hand, you can usually
badger another dealer's parts department and get the lower price. It is a
bit like buying a new car, especially at Boardwalk VW in Redwood City--you
have to threaten to walk out before they'll lower the price.
