Max, Looks like the list came thru with a ton of great ideas. I really like the one about locking the poptop and putting the Laptop behind the forward folded mattress, clever. What I did as a temp solution has to build a false bottom in the wardrobe closet of my 85 Westy. Just deep enough to hold the Laptop. Also insulated the storage area as it gets pretty hot in there.
The false floor is made from the same wall material as the closet and just sits on four wooden pegs. Works well. Currently I'm working with Steve to build a sturdier safe type lock box, but light weight .... to go into this same area. Will still keep the false bottom to cover the safe. But this might be a rather pricey solution. Best of luck. |
