Raul The dull orange glow can be from bad or old fuel beacause it burns for so long that it is still burning in the exhaust pipe the cat can glow if the engine is full rich or a low or dead cylinder the cat has more fuel to burn off I have also seen happen with newly installed engines even with fresh fuel new engines run hotter
