Go to your local electrical supply house, get their catalog on NEMA Electrical boxes. Nema rated boxes are expensive but very strong and waterproof. They come in a variety of sizes and are built like safes. There are waterproof, fireproof, explosion proof, vapor proof or almost any spec you could ask for.
