I purchased an engine from Steve through the list about 8 months ago. I had posted to the list asking a question about a van I was considering buying. He was one of the few people that gave a helpful reply. It turned out he lived about 1.5 hours from me, and also had a van for sale. I ended up buying the engine only from him to complete my van. As this van was new to me, I also needed some guidance to get the "bugs" worked out. He helped numerous times, even GAVE me a spare ECU he had laying around when mine died. Extremely helpful, honest, and knowledgeable. This is NOT his career, just a hobby that can also be profitable. I've accumulated about 20K miles on this used engine now, with nothing more that oil changes. Thanks Steve! If not for his help, I'm sure my van would still be dormant in the garage. I wouldn't hesitate to buy anything from him again. I do not believe any disclosure is required or necessary.

You may want to get those green puddles looked at.
