I stand much chastened.

At the risk of making it worse, I have no problem whatsoever with people selling parts on the list; to the contrary, I think it's great. (Sincere thanks to Terry K. for the 022D ECU, which fixed my problem.) And yes, I missed the earlier posts from Mr. Denis, whose trustworthiness and motivations I did not really question. I simply missed his earlier posts in which he apparently explained what he was doing. That's all I was asking about. When I searched the archives for his e-mail address, it returned no hits. My bad, I guess.

And yes, Mr. Denis, feel free to put me on your blocked bidder list, as you so strongly put it in your p-mail to me. I'll go ya one better and stop my daily search on e-bay for used Vanagon parts, as the prices suck (for buyers), I don't really need any and the wife's pissed about the stockpiling. So there.
