Hi all,
  I lurk alot, but have asked for help in the past.
Half of the reason I am here is for help locating
parts, from wherever!  The other half is tech
support... I feel if you don't want to read something
just exercise your delete key when you see the subject
line.  I myself have passed up the Tiico Conversion
subjects and looked only at For Sale and Parts For
Sale... I do look at some of the tech and questions
about things, but with all the email I get, I can't
read it all.
  While I would love a Tranny from AA Transaxle, I
can't afford $900+ shipping, nor do I want to dump
$800 into a trans that is an hour away (Toledo, my
hometown) that will go bad in 1 month(1 year, etc)  I
like to have options open, and if they are a good deal
even better.
  NotAJeep has made me a great offer that I can't
refuse if I want to drive my 85 Vanagon again.  I
can't see using my sawzall on it like I am doing to my
beat up and worn out 70 Westy. I do wish to thank
everybody for their suggestions and offers on my 85
Vanagon.
  If this bothers anybody, I do apologize... after
all, every has and is entitled to his/her own opinion.
