Subject: Mechanic says $250 muffler
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Hi list,

Thanks to the list I have done allot of work on the Vanagon myself but now that it is getting cold and I have no garage I decided to drop her off at the mechanics. The Trany started to slip and it needed Pa inspection. The mechanic noticed no slipping driving into the garage. I was looking for a better answer than that actually. However to the point of my post it needs a muffler so they say and the price without labor I presumed, was $250. This was an itemized list so there was no labor on there yet. The bus depot has them listed as $109 or something. Should I get my bus out of there and bare the cold and figure this one out as well?

have a good one,

Brian
