I agree, thinner tires have better traction and one tends to get better mileage with them. I want more height out of my van and will look towards putting 15" rims with the highest sidewall in a 195 or 205 width. Reinforced of course. There was a weekender for sale nearby my house that had HUGE 16" rims w/ truck tires on them. Fenders had been cut out wider, a bit of a hack job, but it did look mean and many people would stop to look at it. I always imagined that fellow taking 'rolling thunder' out onto I-90 and looking as mean as all get out creeping up the pass at 35 mph, wasserboxer screaming.
