A picture isn't necessary-----

The top of the bag uses that "post" which actually is the rubber suspension stop, to support the Van.

I have had the Air Lift's in the back of my Van for over a year---they work very good, and install in a snap----maybe in an hour if you take your time.

Try them, you'll like them----
