Do the Vanagons have the same system as my '89 Jetta diesel for indicating water in the fuel? My owner's manual says a flickering of the glow plug light indicates a need to drain the fuel/water separator at my fuel tank. Any ideas how water in the fuel would cause the glow plug light to flicker? Some kind of resistance reading across the plug? I drained a little out this morning and no flicker.

Jay
