ATF (automatic transmission fluid) is different than power steering
fluid.  If the book calls for ATF, use ATF only.  Many cars, over the
years, have used ATF in their power steering systems; they're just
designed that way.

May have missed this in the archives, but Bentley calls for ATF in the
power
steering system.  When I changed my pump today, it definitely has ATF in
it,
reddish brown, nutty smell.  Is there any difference between ATF and P/S
fluid?  I bought P/S fluid, and just need to top up/bleed the system.
