Subject:      Adding Interior lights

Folks,


I'm in the process of installing a small interior light above the sliding
door on my 85 Westy.


Have the Vent channel above the door partially disassembled.


I notice there is a black cable coming from the front.


What is this and if electrical, would it be a goods place to tap for power
to the light?


If not, would you run your wiring forward or backwards and where would be a
good place to get a hot connection.


Apologies for asking a question that I could have answered myself with a
Bentley. Had an order with Amazon that was backordered for 6 weeks.
Cancelled it and placed a new order with B&N, it appeared they were in stock
although a bit more expensive. That order has been backordered now for 4
weeks. What's the deal on the shortage. Are we waiting for a new printing or
version?
