During my recent trip to Ontario, from Minnesota via Michigan, the customs agent did not want to see my citizenship certificate. I brought it because I was told by both my father, in Michigan, and my friend, in Ontario, that at least my drivers license and a birth certificate (don't have one), or a citizenship certificate (have one), is now required. Apparently this news was widely advertised after the September 11th events.

As a side note: Based on my observations during the numerous trips to Canada this year, the Canadian customs agents tend to be nicer and more professional. Oh, and so are the Canadian drivers. Well, on that note, the Canadian people are nicer too. Heck, the women are good looking also! The bacon is bigger. No, I'm not moving to Canada.
