Subject: Instructions for reinstalling gas tank in 84 Camper
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Can anyone provide information for reinstalling the gas tank in an 84 camper? The problem lies with the plastic crossover pipe at the top of the tank. It goes through a strap which screws into the floor of the van under the front seats. The dealer has tried twice to replace the tank, and both times has installed the crossover prior to pushing the tank into position. This presses down the pipe and causes it to break. There is little room to work, and I need to find out the trick to getting the crossover in the strap.

Can't remember how to go to the archives. Would appreciate any information on this also. Maybe I could search around and find an answer.

Please reply to my e-mail as well as to the group.

Thanks in advance. George Columbus, GA
