Okay, I began routing around up front to examine the possiblity of fixing the speedo. The top cable is snapped at the connector, and the bottom cable pulled right out of the dust cover on the backside of the wheel! I pulled both wires out, and I just don't think it'll be worth it to replaqce the cables, and find out what is wrong with the bottom cable "reciever" in the wheel. Has anybody ever hooked up an after market speedo? I figure at minimum, it's gonna cost me about $60 to fix it, cuz none of the van in the local junk yard has a good upper cable, and I have no clue what might be wrong in the lower half. Also, any problem with unwiring the OXS box??? Thanks, Matthew |
