I have Norton anti virus 2001 and it does just that very reliably (and automatically.) You'll be glad you have it when it catches your next virus. I have found that very few viruses can be fixed (Only one in the past year.) If it can't be fixed I just delete, then go to my delete file and delete it again. I guess I will have to resubscribe as soon as my one year subscription with Norton expires. Well worth the investment.
