I totally agree. When I bought my 1989 Vanagon over a month ago and felt
much more in the dark than I do now I ended up paying a VW dealer $40 to
spend 5 minutes to clean the connections in my door switches to get the dome
light to work. I wish I had known then how easy it was to fix.
