Yes, this method works pretty good, even with just one person. I open the sliding door and use the sliding door handle to hold the funnel. That gear oil drains slowly and holding the funnel gets old. Shove the tubing into the tranny and tie it to something nearby to keep it in place. Then thread it up trough the door handle, trim it to length, and put the funnel on the end.
