Subject: speedometer probs

Hello all, my wife informed me last night that the speedometer quit working on her. Its an '87 Vanagon GL model. So this morning bright and early before going to work I checked the cables from the wheel to the sensor box and then on to the speedometer. They were all attached and looked good... Then later she tells me, oh the odometer is still working fine (if I had known that before I wouldn't have wasted my time checking to see if the cables were damaged). So it looks like I'm needing a new or used speedometer or am I missing something else to check?? I also assume that I need to find one that has the same or close to the numbers on the bottom of the dial?? Thanks for any suggestions, Tony ---------- this is coming to you from Anthony Bailey KC0HZP (mailto:abailey@mac.com) Marble Hill, Missouri 63764
