Tim -

I have run Kumho 852s in 195R-14 on my '87 Westy with good results. Can't speak for their all-season qualities, because I put four traction tires on in the winter, but they are very solid for normal highway driving, dry or wet.

The best results have been 45-50 psi rear, and 38-40 psi front.

That's one reason I would be concerned about the Road Venture ST. It's a P type tire, which probably means it can't run over 35 psi, so you might find it too soft, especially on the rear end, which you don't want with a Camper.

Check with Kumho and see what the max pressure is before making a decision.

I have started looking for new tires and ran across a Kumho model that looks promising.

They are the RoadVENTURE ST Series. http://www.kumhotireusa.com/pdf_files/787back.pdf

I am most interested in the 215/70R 14 size with the 96 load rating. The 245/60R 14 with the 98 load rating also could be an option. The 215 has a RPM of 805 which is the same as my speedo marking, while the 245 has an RPM of 815. Both have reinforced sidewalls. I currently have 6.5" wide rims, so rim width shouldn't be an issue with either tire. <SNIP>

Kumho also offers their Commercial A/S 852 series in 185, 195 section widths for the 14" x 5.5" rim. Both of these are "D" rated tires. http://www.kumhotireusa.com/pdf_files/852back.pdf
